Crocker Art Museum Shows Drawings by Exceptional 18th-century Venetian Masters Giambattista and Domenico Tiepolo this Holiday Season. Sacramento, Calif. – UPDATED Decem – Exquisite ink-and-wash master drawings by two of 18 th-century Italy’s most famous draftsmen, the father and son Giambattista and Domenico Tiepolo, are setting the Crocker Art Museum aglow this winter. Over 70 works from the Hermitage in St. Petersburg, including 20 paintings by great sixteenth to eighteenth-century Venetian masters, which return to Venice after centuries, will appear alongside drawings and paintings from the Venetian civic collections, revealing shared aspects of collecting history between Venice and St. Petersburg.
